A shot is more than a prompt.

Prompts describe intent, but space, camera paths, and timing are hard to convey precisely in words. Make them visible in 3D, and give generation a clearer reference.

Before: Prompt

Text only
“A character walks toward her while the camera slowly orbits…”
Space
Where are the characters? How far apart?
Movement
Which path do they take? How does the camera orbit?
Timing
When does each move start? How long does it last?

From words to visual reference

After: 3D Previs

3D visual reference
Spatial concept · A approaches B as the camera orbits.AB
Spatial concept · A approaches B as the camera orbits.
Space
Show where characters stand and how they relate to the camera.
Movement
Show the path of the character and the camera, beyond a movement name.
Timing
Show when movements begin, overlap, and end.

Make your intent visible. Give generation a clearer reference.

Block character movement and timing

Bring a character to the right place at the right moment. Choose built-in actions, adjust paths and duration, and inspect the performance on the stage and timeline.

  • Set the route, gait and timing together in one action.
  • This recording changes the approach from six seconds to five.

Compare framing and plan camera movement

Build coverage around the same performance. Adjust focal length and composition, then use tracking, push-ins or orbits to shape how viewers see the scene.

  • Start with composition presets and refine camera position and lens settings.
  • This recording changes the two-shot’s focal length and adds a push-in.

Edit camera coverage into a playable sequence

Choose shots, arrange and trim clips, and check the cuts in playback. Reuse a camera view, undo changes and save the sequence with your scene.

  • Camera views share the same performance and spatial arrangement.
  • This recording trims the opening to 1.5 seconds and plays through the cut.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need modeling skills?

Start with built-in characters, props, sets or a complete example, then adjust positions and camera views without making your own models.

Can I browse or edit examples without signing in?

Read and preview public examples without signing in. Using a scene requires sign-in and creates your own copy, leaving the original unchanged.

What can I export today?

Export one shot or the current scene’s full sequence as a silent 720p, 30 FPS MP4 in the scene’s aspect ratio. It communicates shot intent rather than finished production quality.

How does it help with AI video generation?

A 3D previs makes character positions, camera movement and timing visible. Export a reference video for tools that accept video references, or use it to explain your shot. Supported inputs and how closely a model follows the reference depend on the downstream tool; this export does not generate the final video.

Can I plan vertical video?

Choose 16:9 or 9:16 when creating a scene. Its aspect ratio is then fixed; existing public examples use 16:9.
