How to block an entrance and a sit-down action

Use the doorway to establish entry, follow the route, show the chair in a wider view, and finish on the sitting action. Align the movement with the furniture before refining cuts so the continuous action is easy to follow.

Camera blocking and composition

The character walks to a stop in front of the chair. The chair slides into place from 5.5 to 6.5 seconds; the sit-down starts at seven seconds and continues into seated idle. The prop movement is separately staged, without hand-to-chair contact binding. Recheck alignment after moving the furniture.
